I was thinking about doing a Biology degree but almost everyone who does one has chemistry as a subject at A level but I do not.

How important is it to do chemistry at A level for a Biology degree? And how many of you didn't do chemistry and how did/ do you find doing a biology course at uni?

As far as I'm aware it's not typically a required subject at A Level.:nope:

Try to be concerned about "almost everyone" else, focus on you when applying.

You don't always need chemistry A level but check each uni individually to find out.

I'm in the same position and I've found that not doing Chemistry A Level only totally excludes you from Biology degrees at a handful of colleges - York, Durham etc. Most universities require two subjects from Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths, and will cover the basic knowledge of Chemistry that you need during your degree.

    Good luck, hope that helps!
