People porn watchers, ie most internet users, don't masturbate 3 times a day, so you are essentially comparing someone who has McDonald's once a week, and someone who drinks 2 litres of water every hour (that person would die), and then say:

Oh WATER is so bad for us! We DIE because we drink WATER!

It's the same point when you said "hours on end". Most people don't have the time to watch porn "hours on end" every day.

If you're addicted to anything, anything is bad for you. It's ridiculous to compare figures from an addict of porn to someone who's not addicted to something else.
Literally mate I don't want to argue about it. I've had the whole porn/no fap argument loads of times on TSR. I don't want porn to be part of my life. On no fap I am motivated to find a girlfriend, meditate, study, read books, go gym, socialise etc. Even if it is a placebo its a ****ing good one.

I think the majority of mainstream porn is awful. It focuses on the man's pleasure and isn't realistic. Some people don't realise that the performers will have prepared beforehand for certain scenes and taken breaks inbetween filming. So, with anal you can't just stick it in and start pounding away, that would be painful and could cause tears and prolapse.
Also, some of the porn stars have been pressurised into doing certain acts and even raped on set. One woman only agreed to do a vaginal sex scene, yet the male porn star raped her anally. The director then congratulated him on getting an anal scene for the cost of a vaginal one.
It isn't that I am against people having sex on camera, some amateur is alright, but more what the majority of porn portrays and the way some porn stars are treated.

There is a lot of stigma attached to sex work and the porn industry to a point where government aren't willing to invest in safety of those in this industry. Yet over half of them probably use it on a daily basis.

In a perfect world, if all those working in this industry were safe and respected, then it wouldn't be harmful. I believe it would be more beneficial than harmful.

Currently I think most promote abusive acts, sets unnatural standards of beauty (for all genders) and doesn't promote respect and love towards our partner(s). Sex should never be for out selfish enjoyment. It should be shared and love (regardless of the type of relationship) and appreciation of each others' bodies should also be as important as the enjoyable aspect.

    Your questionable morals...

It's one thing to say it's not necessary to pay for you, but another thing to not only be proud of piracy, but shaming people who do the right thing.

With the internet, most things are free nowadays. So why go to the cinema? Are those people study? Why go to a concert? Why buy a book?
It's not really an act of piracy occurring, all genres are usually available on sites like pornhub and on there it can be very hard to tell which videos are "meant" to be there and which are ripped from paid stuff. It's not that similar to say, downloading PDFs of books.

    Spoiler:
    Show

Also tbf most big porn studios that want you to pay for full 20-30 minute videos put all the bits you actually wanna see in the 10 minute free previews they scatter over the free sites

You can get addicted to anything so it's nonsensical to then say that particular thing is bad, just like how you can't say water is bad cuz you can die drinking it.
I know this. Everything in life has it's advantages and disadvantages. There's no such thing as no disadvantage in my philosophical view.-

Teenagers are increasingly producing their own porn in the form of sexting - with damaging consequences.

    It's rather disturbing.

Go on pornhub and look at hot videos in the UK and I reckon 80-90% usually depict fairly normal sex between a couple. Sometimes a bit of pegging or anal, but nothing that most of the girls I've been with wouldn't love to do and it's certainly not full of crazy painful gangbangs or anything. Yea, one or two are given odd titles like mum and son, but that's usually by the weirdo who pirated and uploaded it, not the original developer.

Basically I don't know where you're all getting the idea that porn if filled with horrendous scenes that desensitise everyone and mean you can't keep it up, but not everyone is watching whatever twisted things you are

To further back that up, you just have to look at the most searched terms. Sure, there's a couple of mum related ones in there, or the occasional cartoon/game related one, but you have to get to like number 20 before there's much that would be considered debilitating to women.

I think it can set unrealistic expectations, of body image among other things.
