Have any of you enrolled late for an OU course?

I had to defer the A825 history module due to the impact illness had on my studies and am now trying to register late for the coming academic year, but I've just been refused. I'm appealing it now.

I'd like to know if any of you have had a similar experience, and if so what did you do?

If it's your first year, you can start in February, but entry for October ended on the 14th of September so you would be refused as the beginning of courses in October start this Saturday. It would take too long to sort out finance.
I thought I was applying late in August.
