    Yeah. New spec or old spec? Exam board?

    I would suggest you make an agreement with your head teacher asking him/her to allow you to sit for the January mocks and if you achieve an A, allow you onto the course.

    The simplest and cheapest option would be to take it at your college even if they haven't taught you -ask if they will let you.
    Otherwise you have to find an exam centre (=any secondary school or college) willing to let you sit it as a private candidate but expect to pay £100-£250
