yes, they really only ask for maths and physics. though the A* can also be in FM, which is only relevant to those with FM

Yes but your chances will be massively reduced. Using the UCAS offer rate calculator for Cam's Engineering degree, 38% of A*A*A*A applicants with FM got an offer compared to 21% if we swap out FM for biology.
