Hello everyone, I need some advice!

Long story short, I did an access course a year ago which I had passed however it wasn't enough to get me into nursing.

I'm not looking at doing it again so I can get into uni ASAP but my tutor told me I'm not allowed to do same subjects as it has to be 5 years since I last done the course.

I've not heard of that rule and I tried to contact the awarding organisation but I've had no emails back. I can't do it at another college as the deadlines to start have now passed. I just dropped out of uni to do nursing (first year) and I'm desperate to go back and not spend any more time at college

    Any advice??

    Hi,
If you can't do the same subjects at the college you went to before, will the other subjects be accepted by the university's you want to apply to for nursing?
Otherwise it may be a case of applying for another college & starting in September, unless they have a spring start date.
Or would your existing access grades get you into another university even if it's further away?

Unfortunately not as they allowed me to do humanities whereas previously I did sciences and as far as I'm concerned, the unis I've looked at will only accept someone who has done science i.e.. 15 credits in Biology merit and above - I have about 6 merits in biology rest are passes (because I didn't stick to deadlines)

The only option is start in September next year like you said

Unfortunately they require certain number of distinctions and merits whereas my grades are mainly passes/merits!
