Hi, I feel I did pretty well in UKCAT (725 avg + Band 1), however, my GCSE results aren’t so good (6 A’s and 5 B’s). Has anyone got any recommendations of unis that would consider me despite my poor GCSE’s

Exeter could be another option depending on you predicted A levels

I’m predicted A*AA at the moment but there’s the possibility of bumping that up to A*A*A

I would have thought with A*A*A predictions with that UKCAT score you woul get an interview at Exeter.
Your UKCAT should be good enough for Newcastle as well as their cut off for interview last year was 700 average score.

Newcastle, Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow, Queen Mary (50% UCAs tariff/predicted grades, 50% UKCAT), St George's, Plymouth, Aberdeen, Southampton, St Andrews

Are you planning on doing BMAT?

That's fine, you still have a huge array of options. Most of the unis are UKCAT heavy anyway. You still need to double check the minimum requirements though, as I know some universities might want a minimum number of A's/A*'s at GCSE, or an A in a certain subject (e.g. Maths, Sciences, English lang).

Yh, most want at least 6 A’s so I’m right on the limit.
