Hi, my son is hoping to study Geology too (2019) and he is very interested in Birmingham as his brother is a very happy second year undergraduate there and is absolutely loving every minute! Edgbaston is very green and attractive and the campus itself has a lovely vibe and is beautiful, most of the halls are modern and the new library and sports centre are state of the art. The plans for the new green heart look pretty cool too.On the social side, he thinks Birmingham is fantastic, specifically the music/club scene - and we're from London! It costs less than £5 to Uber into town so he and his friends rarely use public transport. The Geology degree itself has good employment prospects and is fairly diverse, plus there is the option to switch to the MSc at the end of year two.I'd be delighted if my younger son choose Brum, I've always had a good feeling when we've visited. Open day is this Saturday 14th October btw.Good luck!
