Hi, i am in the process of sending my ucas application and am wondering whether i should have an insurance choice with modules i am not particularly fond of or just apply to one harder to get into but go through clearing if the time comes. Thanks.

This is down to your own level of comfort with risk.

I would suggest leaving a blank choice on your application instead of rushing to a decision. You can add a choice later.

An insurance that you’d hate is a poor choice. Better to wait and see if you can find somewhere else that you like later on.
