    Hi all, can you tell me please what is the weight needed to prepare 250 cm3 of a 1.0 M solution? Thank you very much!

    Here's how you work it out:

    Calculate the molar mass of sodium carbonate.
    Realise that you need 1 mole of sodium carbonate per litre of solution.
    Calculate the number of moles of sodium carbonate you need for 250cm3.
    Multiply the number of moles x molar mass.
