i wanted to move home in my final year of uni (2018-2019) to save myself money, is there a way of cancelling the maintenance loan so i don't have to repay in future? can i still keep my loan for tuition fees but avoid applying for the maintenance loan to save myself this extra cost? otherwise i may as well live at uni.... help..

You don't have to apply for the mainanance loan. You can take just the tuition loan if you wish. There should the option to say no to the maintanance loan whn you apply for finance.

Erm... speak to student finance, o think. The loan is optional.
