I retook my year 12, and am now sitting year 13. I completely understand how you feel - it feels quite isolating and I was worried about making friends last year. Luckily a few of my friends were also retaking. I do not regret it at all. I have predicted grades at least two grades higher than what I got the first time I did my AS levels. I have a better understanding and a more solid university application. Of course I miss my friends who have gone to uni, but I feel much more confident applying to university now with higher grades and more maturity. Go with your gut feeling. Science A Levels are hard and if you feel you need to start over, its perfectly fine.

Just feeling scared because no one else is confident to retake, hence why they all gone to university and that makes me feel scared and makes me think that maybe I should go to university as well
