I want to apply for Law with a year abroad however, do I have to pay for the travel, accommodation and study fees there upfront or will student fiance cover it as they would normally with a normal Law course?

My understanding is you normally pay your travel and accommodation fees, using your maintenance loan or otherwise, and you pay only half tuition to your current university which covers the tuition cost at the foreign university. Whether accommodation is arranged through the foreign university, your own university, or by yourself seems to vary depending on both the current and target university.
