Hi everyone, I've sent my applications for University off this week! I've been predicted A*AA, and I'm super worried I won't be able to achieve it at the end. I've applied to Cambridge to study English, which is what I'm predicted the A* in. I know I have an aptitude for English, but I didn't get any A*s at GCSE and I don't know how I will get an A* in it. I got an A in my last English exam at the end of year 12, but my most recent one fell to a B+ and I'm worried I won't quite make the star by the end of year 13, and if I am made an offer by Cambridge I won't meet it!!

I'm just worried my teachers have over-estimated me! There are only 4 of us in our sixth form that have been predicted A*s in any of their subjects, so I suppose they've been harsh but I'm just slightly afraid they've judged me wrong!! Any advice would be amazing, especially on how to reach the A* level in English or if they've felt like this before!

Believe in yourself. Yes you can do it and you will do it. Put in the effort, do the exam questions, read the books and you can do it.

Thank you so much, I think I really needed to her that! With a levels it's so easy to doubt ourselves! Thank you so much again, I have to believe <3 and I shall!!

I've been feeling similar to you about chemistry! I've been predicted high and I do worry about achieving it. However, if we put our minds to it, do the work and revise it know we can do it!
