    A car has an overall force of 2800N and a mass of 315kg. Using the equatuion F=ma, what is the acceleration of the car in ms-2?

    A car moving with velocity 5ms-1 in some direction, accelerates uniformly at 2.0ms-2 for 10 seconds. calculate
    a) the final velocity using v= u+at
    b) the total distance travelled using v2=u2 =+ 2as

    Give your answer to 3 significant figure.

    But the question tells you exactly what to do in all cases... There isn't much more to say!

    Do you know what all of the symbols in the given equations mean? If so, substitute the values you are given, and rearrange using normal algebra rules to find that quantity that you want.
