I have done 6 weeks work experience altogether within the span of 2 years. (Year 3; 22 days, Reception; 2 days, Nursery; 2 days, Year 2; 2 days, Year 4; 2 days).

I didn't do any voluntary work. Is this experience alone enough to apply for PGCE Primary?

I'm thinking to apply for UCL, Brunel/ Middlesex and St. Mary's?

Should be fine, I think the minimum was 2 weeks for undergraduate.

I'm planning on doing a Postgraduate (PGCE). Is that still enough?

They'll state their requirements on their website. Typically 10 days is required, so you'd be fine for that, but some have further conditions, like all 10 days being in the last academic year before applying, or 5 days per key stage (which you wouldn't have, as you've only got 2 days in KS1), but it depends on the institution.

All the instituions I am planning on applying to only required 10 days in a classroom according to their site, without specifying the specific age group to work with.

However UCL said they want 5 days in one classroom and the other 5 days in ranges of classes and key stages, before the interview.

Do you think I still stand a chance in applying for this cycle?

It’s probably worth emailing UCL (doing so wouldn’t harm your application or anything) but I think it’s still worth applying.

If it's now that you're applying, you have plenty of time to do some more before September
