I'm not asking anyone to answer the question for me - I just need a little bit of inspiration as I've been trying to come up with an idea for a couple of days, yet struggling to think of anything that's really worth writing about.

"Tell me about a time when you got results above expectations"

Can anyone give any examples of things that would be good to talk about here?

    Thanks so much!

Studied for an exam you thought you might get an average grade at, planned revision etc and got the best grade you've ever got. The point being how you achieved it, not simply the achievement.

Delivered a bit of extra thoughtful customer service to someone, and saw the absolutely fantastic difference it made to them, because of circumstances you didn't know, which showed you the value of caring and making an effort, because you never know the big positive impact and small bit of your effort might have on others.

etc It's not about the 'winning' it's a question about what you learnt around the edges of the achievement

Maybe you worked in a shop before, and you were set selling targets to meet. You worked very hard and managed to sell higher than the targets set.
