I have the problem of having a Polish strict mother and she wants me to do well in life so she wants me to do a-levels and go to a sixth form of her choice so i dont limit my options for what to do in my future. Yet i have my heart at BCA where i would be able to study equine studies level 3 ata an extended diploma and that would then let me go do equine vet nursing and general vet nursing . My mother is completely against the idea and hates it being brought up but i know i wont do well with A-levels as i've got minor problems that would hinder me and horses are my passion and life. No idea what do, do i convince her and just apply or do i do what she wants

I'm doing a level 3 in animal care and ya great. U can still do vet nursing / equine vet nursing by doing a levels . But u have to do what's best for you. A level 3 is equivalent to 4 a levels anyways. I'm applying for vet nursing for September x

Or you could just apply anyways and she would have to just accept it

I had the same problem. I chose A-levels. It just allows more for your future and doesn't stop you from doing vet nursing, if anything it makes you look better because it is more academic.
