I moved schools and some friends who did not come with me started to turn funny. One completely ghosted and didnt open group chats for weeks, one chats rubbish over text acting to be hard and cant say anything to your face, another strings you on thinking you're still friends but probably chats behind your back and another is so invested in her books she doesnt see how she'll need to keep friends for hard times in life
It really hurt because we were good friends and thought we'd stay in contact. I know everyone says that you learn after high school who your real friends are but I guess I havent been able to let it go because I dont know the reason why this all happened. They aren't the confrontational type either, if I ask them they'll just say we drifted apart
Its been months and months since this happened and it bothers me a lot- to know that humans will easily drop their friends for nothing
Some days I am like just forget people, forget needing to feel sad because of the way they treat you but then it hurts to know that 'friends' who you were close to and hung out with for a few years decide to do this.
So any advice on how to get over this?

Go out and do something new or something you love doing. Maybe a class or two, or try a new sport. You will find some more friends that have the same/similar interests as you. Having at least 1 or 2 interests with the other person will help with strong relationships.
