    Hi I went to the dentist yesterday and he said that he will send a letter to the orthodontist so what happens next, how do I know when to go to the clinic, could you give me a step by step guide on how you guys got braces and what are elastics and are they painful.

    You’ll get an appointment in the post probably
    If it’s nhs it can be quite a long wait.

    Hi I am 15 but almost turning 16 because of the long wait its likely I will get it at 16 but braces is a max of 24 months so will I have to pay when I am 18 but I started when I was 16 in full e.d.

    No you won’t have to pay on the nhs as long as you started your treatment before your 18th birthday
