I am living on de Hav. People like to come over to the area outside my building at bed time to talk and play and it affects me a lot I can't sleep. I called security already but there are just too many people. After one group left, new people came to make noise.

Any suggestions on how to deal with it???

I've had similar problems. I usually just put my headphones on and listen to music/meditation soundtracks.
Or ear buds, the wax ones I find are the best.
    Hope this helps!

Glad to hear I'm not alone! I hope people can be more considerate and know that their behaviour affects the lives of other people.
I don't understand they like to gather outside people's building. How I wish they could meet up in somewhere further away from people's blocks!

    Hey Moli,

I'm sorry to hear you're having this problem. Living in halls can be a little noisy, especially when you get young freshers away from home for the first time going a little crazy. As the term goes on it should settle down a little bit.
I'd suggest keeping the accommodations office informed of repeat offenders and if it happens constantly it can be dealt with.

LeBigLebowski's advice of using headphones is also a good idea!

    All the best,

    David
