I've had a cold since the end of September and I've had a cough for the past week. I've tried cough syrup, Lemsip, cold and flu tablets, ibuprofen and of course drinking a crap tonne of water. I've had to call in sick my first day at my new store (same company, just transferred) because I spent all last night coughing. I've been sick 3 times the past 4 days from coughing so much. I've left my lectures twice because I've started coughing so much. How can I get rid of it? Help! Any other medicines I can try that will work.

I would recommend try going to see a Doctor/General Practice and they will probably give better guidance into what to do.
