Predicted 9 in both at GCSE. Want to do Biology and Chemistry A level for Medicine, can't decide which English to do.

I am good at in depth analysis and rambling on, love meaning behind things, hence why some of my teachers think Lit is for me. However, I don't like Shakespeare and reading in general all that much. I've heard Lang is a bit of a softer subject though, and Lit would look so much better.

My ability is more or less exactly the same in them both, it's just a case of picking which will be least stressful and most enjoyable.

So, persuade me! Convince me for either please. All your advice, everything you know would be appreciated. Exam board will be AQA if that helps.

    Thank you in advance!!

Literature is the more respected subject; it's a 'facilitating' subject whereas language is not. Literature will be preferred for medicine and is the preferred subject for studying English at university level if you change your mind about medicine.
