Is the workload manageable? Which is easier? Huge step up from GCSE in your opinion?

No it's completely unmanageable. Nobody has ever succeeded in getting into medicine, dentistry or pharmacy doing chemistry and biology together at A-level. Don't do it, it's impossible as everybody fails when they try to do this.

In the beginning they all seem ok but Chemistry is a difficult jump overall. Just keep ontop of all of it and revise as you go along - it becomes a lot easier if you split it up into manageable chunks.

As for difficulty - it really depends of what you enjoy. They are both a lot of memorizing but chemistry also requires a lot of problem solving and application...

    Good luck

Of course it's manageable, as long as you put in the hard work and effort into it, but do know it's going to be defficult nonetheless.
I'm taking Physics and Maths along with those two and I'm finding it really difficult but somewhat manageable nonetheless.
Best of luck and I hope you enjoy your Sixth Form, unlike I!
