I want to do econ w/finance at uni, and right now doing econ, maths and physics. I want to drop physics, and so what would be better to replace it: geography, business studies or history? btw only did bs at GCSE out of the 3.

I think they’re very good replacement choices for economics. Geography and History are more respected out of the 3 and personally I think Geography will link in the best

Yes my post was aimed towards a replacement for Physics. Some universities class Economics and Business as 1 subject as they’re so alike so I would avoid Business

I did Business at GCSE too and also enjoyed it, wanted to do Economics at A-Level but the lessons clashed with Geography.

Look at the Geography & History spec and talk to the teachers. I enjoy both subjects at A-Level so it’s hard to give an answer, depends on what you think you’d enjoy more

I’m not 100% sure but I think Geography is sort of the same as Economics in terms of essays

As someone above said, don’t do economics and business, as many top universities (e.g. LSE) regard them as overlapping A-levels, so they won’t regard you as having 3 proper distinct A-levels.

To an extent, maybe. I’m honestly not sure, I do know there are people who have done it so you might have to chat with them. It may take you a while to catch up but I think it’s doable
