Im currently an A1 student, looking to apply to oxbridge next school year, Ive been advised to do as many super-curricular activities in A1 because of the increased workload & pressure in A2. I want to do a history degree, I've already signed up to go to some lectures but I can't find relative work experience, has anyone got any other ideas for activities?

No work experience is needed for history applicant to Cambridge.
The only ‘extracurricular’ they’re interested in is subject-related one (they call if supercurricular).
They’re not interested in how many you’re doing it or what. Thing they care is what and how you learned from supercurricular to explore and develop your passion/interest/understanding of the subject beyond and above your school curriculum. So simple reading around the subject you’re interested is good enough, as long as you just don’t read but properly ‘think’ critically about what you’ve read.
