Anyone part of the boxing club at this uni? Are there any members of the squad who only started boxing for the first time at uni?

I am not part of boxing society but I assume you can be part of the squad in the first year. On the taster days (the first few sessions of the society), they will do trials and so if you're good enough, you can make it to the squad (or the development squad if there is on).
But if it's really big, might be harder to make it to the team since there will be more good people.
