    Hi,
I was wondering which medical schools are quite GCSE heavy in the UK.
    Thanks.

Thanks, do they look at UkCat at the same weighting?

Cardiff only look at UKCAT in borderline cases after interview. Leicester weight GCSE and UKCAT 50:50, QUB look at GCSES 85% and UKCAT 15% I think, but you should check on that. And St. George's set minimum cut-offs for both, the GCSE cut-off is 8 As incl Sciences, Maths and English language and the UKCAT cut-off is usually 640-650 (they also have cut-offs for each sub-section but that is usually always only 500 for each sub-section), providing you meet those minimum cut-offs, you will definitely get an interview at St. George's. Birmingham weigh GCSES and UKCAT 70:30.
