Gcses good enough for medicine?

Hello, I started my Alevels in Maths, FM, Chemistry & Biology. I want to know if my GCSE grades are good enough for medicine at Oxbridge?

Maths: 9
Further Maths: A*
English Language: 9
English Literature: 9
Chemistry: A*
Biology: A*
Physics: A*
RS: A*
Geography: A
French: B
ECDl: D*

you got majority A*s and three 9's.....thats more than enough for med school! Congrats:biggrin:
This is a silly question. Those GCSEs are more than adequate for medicine anywhere. Definitely okay for Cambridge and probably okay for Oxford!

they're fine for Cambridge, but the percentage of A*s might be on the lower side for Oxford. And they're obviously good enough for every other medical school.

Remember that there is a lot more to applying for medicine than GCSE grades. They are insignificant and will play no real role in being given an offer. What is far more important is your character and temprement. Ensure you have volunteering that goes beyond what is expected.
