Do you mean like a shopping addiction?

If you mainly shop online, one tip is to unsubscribe from emails from retailers that give you offers. When one of these drop in you inbox, you will be more tempted to browse and shop.

If you shop instore, try to only bring cash with you. If you carry card, you are more likely to spend more. By only bringing cash, you only spend what you have. You have to wisely divide your cash for other things like bills and food.

If you buy a lot on the high street, lots of cheap fast fashion, tell yourself to invest in a few high quality pieces that will last you a long time. They may be more expensive at first, but by only buying cheap fast fashion and then discarding after a wear or two, replacing it with new cheap items, you spend more money in the long term.

You could try to find a new hobby which distracts you from your urge to shop.
