My son is applying to queens, we live in England. Was wondering how many english students there were there. Just concerned that halls may become deserted at weekends if local people go home.

    Hi Addyca,

Thank you for getting in touch.

This is an important question, as I'm sure that as a parent it will be a concern for you when your son heads off to university.

Here at Queen's, there are currently 1,200 GB students with approximately 320 living in Elms Village (our main student accommodation). There are always at least 3-4 GB students placed on each floor within the halls and there is also a large body of international students.

There is a Weekend Club led by our English, Scottish and Welsh students which organises trips, events and activities which are great for socialising and forging friendships.

I hope this helps, but if you have any more questions please just let us know.

    Kachela
    (Team Queen's)
