Please can someone explain what I need to expect from each paper, so far I've just found out the following.

    There are 3 papers
    paper 1 - non calculator
paper 2 - can use calculator
    paper 3 - as above

Each paper is marked to 80, so the whole lot is 240 total marks.

All last 1 hour 30 minutes

    Now my questions are:

How many questions are in each?
How long can I expect for each paper?
What type of questions are on each?
Is there a set order to do the questions in, or is it best to do the high scorers first and then the lower ones afterwards?
Are there definite subjects that will be in the paper ( I know that is a long shot but why not ask)?

I would love to have your input,
    Thanks.

    1. 27-29 approx
    2. Urm, 1 hour 30 minutes?
    3. Have a look at specimen and practice papers to see the style and types of questions.
    4. Most people start at the beginning capturing the easy marks and work through to the end where questions are harder. Don't waste time on questions you can't instantly do. Skip them and come back to them at the end.
    5. Because the papers are longer/have more time than previous specifications the examiners have the chance to test the vast majority of the specification over the 3 papers. Pretty much any topic can appear on any paper.
