    Hi!
I'm looking to go to Uni next year and am wondering if having UC entitles me to any additional finances as it's a lifelong condition? I'm a year 13 undergraduate. Thanks all

    There's DSA

    but note
DSAs don’t cover disability-related costs you’d have if you weren’t attending a course, or costs that any student might have.

To add to what Joinedup said - DSA will pay for any equipment you may need, a non-medical helper, such as a note taker or a mentor. But they won't pay for things like hospital appointments.

You don't get any extra cash. But if you've paid for anything out of your own pocket that they've agreed to pay for, you can claim it back.
