    I am stuck on the fence between these to. York is Russel group and on paper looks better for that? But the course doesn't look quite as interesting as Microbiology at Surrey. Yorks accommodation is also a lot pricier. Plus both have a work placement in industry. Does Yorks reputation as a russel group uni outweigh any reason to go to surrey?

    One factor that might be worth considering is that York allows you to do an integrated masters.
    I don't think its RG status matters that much though. It just means that it gets more funding for research.

    Doing an integrated masters isn't to much of a pull for me, My end game has always to study Molecular Pathology after completing my undergrad, at Imperial or somewhere else anyway, York doesn't offer anything really Pathology related Postgrad wise
