# help with periodic table anyone? watch

1. I'm new to this and have no idea where to even start. I have a sheet with 20 circles and i'm supposed to do the following....

3. I think that for every circle you have to plot it's electrons, you can draw them with an 'x', basically for every atom you have a big number and a small one, read the small one and draw as many X's as the number is, but you have to remember that for each shell there's a maximum electrons, so the first shell (circle) can have only 2, the second and all the ones after can take 4 per circle. hope you understand

You have to do electronic configurations of all the elements (eg 2.8.8 = 18 electrons) and remember that the first shell can have a maximum of 2 electrons and the rest can have a maximum of 8. For the diagram just plot dots

Do the electrons. It may only want outer shell but you can do up to 4 if you want to do them all only 2 on the first then 8,8,2

Just remember the inside shell gets filled first (2 electrons), then the next with 8, etc.
