If you study Economics at university, which uni and what grades did you achieve? watch

    Hi there. I'm interested to know why you are asking? As a general rule, the entry grades for the uni will tell you what the A level grades were of the successful applicants. At the top of the league table nearly all people will have achieved or exceeded the grades because the courses are very competitive. Slightly lower down, some will have been predicted the entry grades, and would still have been accepted if they missed by 1 grade, and lower down still, maybe missing two grades. The AS grades are most likely to follow the A level grades as these were part of the basis for predicting grades when applying. GCSEs also generally also follow for most people. There will be some who buck the trend - did poorly at GCSE and then went on to excellent AS/A Levels. This could be due to illness or personal circumstances, and also the benefit of picking the subjects they were best at for A level. On TSR you can look at the applicant threads to see what the people applying have got, and expect to get.
