Do you think they're exploiting their religion and the fashion of the hijab for money? Islam teaches modesty and she cakes herself in makeup drawing a lot of attention from males to her. Do you think she is sending the wrong message to young muslim girls who may look up to her?

I had to goggle her name.

I don't know why she wears sooo much make-up, because it makes her look unattractive.

As a guy, i shouldn't really have much say in this, but you could say she's exploiting it to an extent. At least she's wearing a burqa, and not exposing her breasts like your average model, so you could say she's keeping some modesty. As long as the burqa she makes, fulfils its intended use, I don't see whats wrong with it

Tbh it's not that extreme but she is just going against the main reason for wearing it i.e modesty.
And young girls will also get the wrong idea and think it's some sort of fashion icon when really there's a different purpose behind it.

It's not that it's extreme but it does go against what Islam supposedly teaches which is modesty. She might not have her boobs out but and a miniskirt on but she is beautifying her face to attract male attention and selling herself for money basically.

Person making money by “exploiting” her religion is bloody smart. Found a gap in the market. Her religion or beliefs dont matter. She is a good entrepreneur mind. She is sending all the right messages and helping making a backwards religion and culture more progressive whilst still retaining some cultural roots, albeit modified.

What the hell? So because she wears make up and dresses fashionably she's seeking attention from men. She might be acting like that for those reasons but you don't know that and the fact that you are judging her is also against Islam.

Muslims are the best when it comes to judging people. I guess I also want to attract male attention since I wear make-up and try to dress well.

FYI I don't really like her or watch her videos so am not saying it as a fan, I see where you're coming from but saying that is disgusting. There are so many male youtubers who are Muslim and no one speaks about them.

I didn't know that wearing make-up meant being more progressive. I guess they didn't have make-up back in the day then

    Wow, she's beautiful.

You could hardly say this sort of online content is for men, I bet 80%+ of her viewers are girls wanting tips/aspirational content.

Too right. Like above user said her content isn't exactly aimed at sexually frustrated Abdullahs or Dawah Man lites either, she's found a great niche in her religion and has monopolised it well. Fair play to her. If she can help progress some of the backwards culture then good on her.

Too much make-up. It's like a mask, but then her face is completely concealed so it should be halal. Well done.

As a Muslim I just want to say can we all just mind our own business and worry about ourselves and our actions? This is a free country and free world, we have been given the choice to do whatever we want so please just leave her alone. You can’t judge her only god can.
