What is Salters Chemistry??? Do you get anything better from it?? watch

I’ve read that Salters Chemistry is very difficult compared to normal A-level Chemistry. One of the sixth forms I am considering going to only offers Salters Chemistry, so I was wondering...

If it is so much harder, why would you do it? Do you get anything out of it? (E.g. recognition that you did a harder course, favour over other Uni candidates because you did Salters, anything like that??)

If there is nothing beneficial to me from doing a course that is harder to get a high grade in, I don’t think I will want to do it. I’d rather have a higher grade tbh!!

(P.S. I want to get into Veterinary Medicine and be a surgeon, if that helps at all!)

They are all treated the same.
