Question: "In a world where we struggle to feed an ever-expanding human population, owning pets cannot be justified."
"Explain what is meant by this statement. Argue that pet ownership is indefensible. How should moral or ethical concerns influence a decision to own a pet?"

It says "argue that pet ownership is indefensible" so does that mean you have to down arguments for and against and then sum up by saying it is indefensible or do you only have to say why it is indefensible?

Looks like you would only argue against pet ownership, but you could give counter-arguments and explain why they are invalid.

I was wondering if that was the case and I looked it up. I've seen videos by medical students saying it doesn't matter which one you choose and they've said that it's always just best to choose the easiest one to you.
