On my UCAS form, I want to put my dad's address because it is in a low area for university participation as I should be able to get contextual offers with it. However, I actually live with my mum and so it would be her income that I would need to be assessed (plus although my dad's house is in a deprived postcode he is more well-off). Is this possible or would both addresses need to be the same, not sure if they linked or not?

I'd imagine both addresses should be the address where you live, so your mum's address?

    Hi benjaminb2000,

If you are under 25 and your parents are separated, we ask you to give us the financial information of the parent you would normally live with.

Once you are financially assessed by Student Finance, as long as both you and your sponsor have given their permission to share that information with the university, they will access your information for bursary purposes.

I cannot advise regarding your UCAS form.

    Thanks Rona
