    Postgraduates or gap year applicants or reapplicants. Exeter weighs predicted/achieved grades highly and also a bit of ukcat.

    Gap year applicants have the advantage of always being put one tier above the school leavers. Achieved A*A*A is tier 2, but predicted A*A*A is tier 3. This is why only those who have already gotten 3 A* are in tier 1 for Exeter.
