Struggling to understand Unification of Italy??

Hi,
I have recently started studying for my A-levels and one of my topics in history is the Unification of Italy (Edexcel). I am really struggling to understand it as my teacher makes everything so complocated and i feel like i am learning nothing at all! If someone could send me revision notes or help me seperate this into sections because at the moment everythng is all over the place in my head and its really stressing me out! I just want to be confident in what i am doing.
