I am currently writing my personal statement for a joint honours subject but I'm a bit stuck about how to link them together. I'm applying for Philosophy with Classical studies/literature/civilisation, can anyone help?

So classical philosophy or ancient philosophy cannot be linked with classical studies at all? I mean c'mon!

There's a ton of stuff you can connect with.

But your PS doesn't have to be about that. You can just do one paragraph on each subject. One could be perhaps on the philosophy love and then classics could be classical literature/poetry with the theme of love. It's very simple. Try and expand your creativity a bit more.

Try Hellenistic Philosophy - that's stuff like Epicurus and etc which would go well with classical studies.
