Just started Year 12 last month and I would love to study economics at uni (possibly economics and politics) Bearing in mind my sixth form does not offer Economics a level or geography at a level, The A levels that I have chosen are: Maths, History and Politics. Are these subjects alright to let me study economics at uni? (aiming for a Russel group)
Will these a levels let me study Economics at uni? Watch

From informed choices (from Russel Group)
ESSENTIAL ADVANCED LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS
USEFUL ADVANCED LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS
Economics, Computing/Computer Science, History, Business Studies.
Yeah... You meet the essentials, so check specific university's requirements. In your personal statement relate your subjects to economics/economics+politics.
Your school can put the fact that you've never studied economics in your reference - it should be fine.Last edited by DotCoder; 08-10-2017 at 19:13. Reason: Misread
