Some questions give you the information you need within the question, but some seem to assume that you just know certain atomic masses. Is there a periodic table at the front of section 2 or something?

Nope. Just memorise the most common ones; knowing just carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen and sulfur will take you far.
