I'm pretty sure I have PCOS. The only thing making me think that I may not is that I'm not overweight - though I do hold fat around my middle and can't shift it from here (I read that can be a symptom of insulin resistance in PCOS).

I came off my pill last year after being on it for 5 years and since then I've noticed more and more symptoms making me think this is what I've got.

I have excess body and some exces facial hair.

I still get quite a lot of spots despite being in my 20s

My hair has thinned out loads around my hairline (looks like I'm going bald).

My periods aren't very regular - they're not terrible but my cycles do vary from around 26 - 35 days in length. I've also gone a couple of months without a period - though this may have been due to stress.

I want to go to the doctor about it but I'm worried that because I'm not overweight they won't take me seriously? I'm terrified that I'm infertile

    Anyone got any experiences?

Go see them. No point holding off cos you're worried they might not take it seriously.
    Good luck
