Should The College I'm Attending Teach The New Specification? (HND Computing 2017) watch

    • Thread Starter

    Dear Readers,

I am currently attending a local college, who offer Higher National Diplomas in various subjects. After conducting research, there is a new specification for the HND Computing 2017 (September 2017). The detail I noticed was that the college is teaching the old specification.

Given the nature of technology, I feel this college should update and teach the new specification, if they want to be regarded as a up-to-date institution. I can understand there is a lot of work in preparing and creating new assignments, but if they want to be the best and I certainly want to be, then I expect to be taught the latest. Plus, paying all of these Student fees, does not make it worthwhile. I am debating whether to find a new education institution and go there. Unfortunately, the next college offering this qualification is more than 30-40 miles away.

Can my voice be heard if I go to the head of the college and discuss with them about why as a student I am not being taught the latest specification?

What are you thoughts on this matter?

Look forward to hearing from others,
