let's say i wanted to go to nottingham to do management (AAB) and I was predicted ABC, would it be worth applying to nottingham or would it be better to apply to unis around the ABC area and then if I achieve AAB on results day, search for courses at nottingham then?

Im in a similar position. I emailed my Uni in question and they said to apply anyway and if I didnt quite meet their offer they would likely offer me the course with a foundation year. So theres no harm in applying.

No harm in applying. Just don't be surprised if they reject you. It's a possibility.

Go for it. There's no harm in applying - it's only 1/5 choices. Just make sure you apply for a couple that are in line with your predictions and a couple slightly below (BBC for example), and you'll be fine.

Better to apply through adjustment but if you have four other lower choices then you could take that risk.

I have Nottingham Trent and Oxford Brookes as the lower options and would've thought that'd be sufficient no?
