    Hello, I am a 2nd year student in London, originally from an EU country and I want to apply for the migrant worker loan. I started working in August, therefore I only have 2 payslips. Is it enough to apply with only 2 payslips, ID card and employment contract? Shall I also send a bank statement?

    Hi ady2396,

    You need to prove your identity, send us:

    • your original passport or national identity card.

    You need to prove your employment, send us photocopies of one of the following:

    • your payslips for the last 3 months • your latest P60 • your contract of employment.

    As you only have 2 months payslips and not received a P60 yet we would advise that you enclose a handwritten letter confirming this.

    What should the handwritten letter contain exactly? The fact that I am working for only 2 months and I have not received a P60 yet?
    Moreover, if I will send the employment contract, there is no need to also send the payslips, isn't it?

    Hi ady2396,

    You just need to state in the letter that you have only worked for 2 months and this is the only evidence you can provide, we will also require you to send in the payslips with the contract of employment, the processing department will require to see both pieces of evidence.
