Ik that I want to do something like a chemistry degree after a levels and I’m currently doing chemistry, maths, economics, and Welsh bacc. Should I do biology and drop economics or stick with what I’m doing? It’s just I’ve seen that some unis offer lower entry requirements but I’m doing chem and maths. One uni was AAA but ABB if 4 a levels and 2 science / maths would the Welsh bacc count?

Most unis would take you on for Chemistry with strong chem and maths; anything else is usually not regarded, only its grades. Economics is definitely not a soft subject IMO.

Would they acknowledge Welsh bacc as a 4th for lower offer?

You’re not going to get a lower offer from universities by having more/varied qualifications; your primary focus would need to be your chem and math a levels.

Nahhh like in the original post I was looking at one uni (can’t remember) and the offer was AAA (inc. chem and maths) and then said ABB for people with 4 A-levels
